This Saskatchewan-Alberta Organic Producers Directory is a jointly funded effort untertaken by your local Organic Farmers in Alberta and Saskatchewan.

Facing increased consumer demand to supply Canadian Organically Grown Products in their stores, grocers had to travel hundreds of miles to fill organic orders and custom shipping of partial loads over long distances combined to render organic products impractical and out of the reach of the common consumer by the time it reached the shelf.

In response, organic farmers across Alberta and Saskatchewan united and developed this centralized database of Canadian organic farms in Alberta and Saskatchewan.
